Pick a partner (or two) and let’s go! Twice a year, Round Robin Doubles kicks off with two divisions. Both divisions sport some of the club’s most enthusiastic doubles players. There are those who are more experienced from their former junior days and there are those who are new to competing as well.
This edition will highlight a strategy that promotes more female involvement. Whilst Division I is Open like it always has been, Division II must form a mixed team combination. The combination can be made up of 1 male and 2 female or vice versa.
What’s the format? This part of Round Robin Doubles remains the same at 2 Sets to 6 with a tiebreak at 6-6.
This competition is designed to cater the serious tennis players (at club level) and the most social tennis players too who are still learnin the in’s and outs (pun unintended) of the game.
